FitCalc is run by one person in the UK, so there's no contact form, no ticket system, and no support queue — just an email address that reaches a human. Corrections to the calculators or the guides are the most useful thing you can send, and they get answered first.
What's worth writing about
-
A calculator is giving a wrong or strange result
The most valuable message this site receives. Please include the tool you were using, the exact values you entered, whether you were in metric or imperial, the number you got, and the number you expected. That's usually enough to reproduce the problem in a couple of minutes.
-
Something in a guide is inaccurate or out of date
Guidance changes, and so does the literature. A link to the source you're working from makes a correction much faster to verify. Factual corrections are made promptly and the page's "last updated" date changes with them.
-
A calculator or guide you'd like to see
Suggestions are genuinely read. The bar for adding a tool is that a well-validated, published formula exists for it — if a calculation only works by guessing, it doesn't belong here.
-
Advertising, affiliate, or press questions
Note up front that FitCalc does not publish sponsored posts, paid links, or guest articles, and no brand has ever paid for a mention. How the site is funded is set out in full on the about page.
-
Privacy questions or data requests
FitCalc has no accounts and no database, so there is usually no personal data held about you at all — but UK and EU GDPR requests can still be sent to the same address and will be answered. The privacy policy explains exactly what is and isn't collected.
What this inbox can't help with
FitCalc can't give personal health, nutrition, or training advice, and won't try to. Questions like how many calories you specifically should eat, whether a number means something is wrong, or how to train around an injury need someone who can see your full picture — a doctor, a registered dietitian, or a qualified coach. Messages asking for individual advice will get a polite pointer in that direction rather than an answer, because an honest "I can't tell you that" is worth more than a guess.
If something you've read here worried you about your health, please speak to a GP rather than another calculator.
FitCalc provides estimates for general information and planning only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a doctor, registered dietitian, or qualified coach.
